About Voeux Couture
Voeux Couture was founded by Jas, who began as an alterations specialist in the very space she now owns. More than twenty years at the fitting mirror taught her exactly how a gown should sit at the shoulder, hold at the waist, and move down the aisle, and that knowledge shapes every appointment. She runs the boutique as an independent Georgetown atelier, where fittings are unhurried and brides are known by name.
What sets Voeux Couture apart is that our designers cut each gown to your individual measurements from the start, rather than selling a standard size and tailoring it down later. Shaped to your proportions and posture, a made-to-measure gown fits more precisely and usually calls for fewer alterations than off-the-rack.
You work with the same team from your first appointment through the final fitting, and most of our designers allow real changes along the way, an adjusted neckline, altered sleeves, an extended train. Nothing is rushed to fit a floor sample.
We also alter gowns bought anywhere, including online, inherited, or from another salon, for brides, bridesmaids, and mothers of the bride and groom. Begin eight to twelve weeks before the wedding so there is room for several fittings. Whether you come to find a gown or to perfect one you already own, the aim is the same: a dress that fits you and no one else.
